Becky Parker Geist

Founder & CEO

Becky Parker Geist is the founder and CEO of Pro Audio Voices Inc.

After receiving her M.F.A. in Acting in 1981, Becky began narrating Talking Books for the Blind through the Library of Congress, narrating over 70 titles in two years. She quickly became one of their most popular narrators.

As a professional stage actress, she has toured internationally, as well as on the east and west U.S. coasts. Becky brings her broad range of theatre skills – acting, directing, producing, marketing – to bear in all her production work.

The mother of three wonderful daughters who are also her best friends and colleagues, Becky lives in Portland, OR. Becky also enjoys biking, hiking, playing and inventing games, and all things creative.

Fun Fact: Becky’s first audiobook experience was listening to a 45rpm record of Yogi Bear and endlessly imitating all the voices.

Jerrilee Geist has had the honor of filling a variety of roles with Pro Audio Voices since 2015, as a Narrator, Editor, Casting Director, and now Director of Production. With a background of 18 years and a degree in theatre, she continues to enjoy working with an amazing team of artists to make great audiobooks.

She believes deeply in the power of words, having been changed and driven to action many, many times by the visions of others.

“It has been truly astounding to see the company grow from its humble roots to what it is today, a thriving community, and I have learned so much in the process. One of the best things about working with PAV is the team of people I get to collaborate with on a daily basis.”

Fun Fact: Jerrilee’s greatest joy is foraging and wildcrafting in the forest, followed very closely by a good book by the fire.

Emily Busbee | Operations Manager | Pro Audio Voices

Emily Busbee

Director of Marketing Services

Emily joined Pro Audio Voices in January 2020, and has developed systems and provided support that helped PAV continue to grow.

As a young graduate seeking new horizons, Emily was accepted into Global Citizen Year and spent 7 months in Ecuador, learning Spanish and volunteering at a rural health clinic. During this time, she lived with an indigenous Kichwa family in the Amazon rainforest and drank in the sights and sounds of nature.

Upon returning to the States, she moved to the frenetic city of Berkeley, CA and met the love of her life while working in a local coffee shop. After managing a 120 unit apartment for nearly five years by UC Berkeley, they were ready for a change of pace and scenery.

After living in Idaho for 3 years, she’s now enjoying the best of both worlds in Texas with her husband, Jazz, and their adorable rescue puppies, Pickles and Piper.

Fun Fact: Emily likes to make friends by saying, “Hey, I think we should be friends!”

Elias Khalil_Pro Audio Voices

Elias Khalil

Project Manager; Production, Submissions, and Publishing Accounts

Elias narrates and produces audiobooks and various voice-over projects. He previously spent over 10 years working within the healthcare and insurance brokerage industries in the GCC in marketing and business development positions. Before that, he worked on malaria vaccine research at Emory University. He loves playing guitar, collecting vinyl, board games, and books- some of his favorites are Kurt Vonnegut, Yaa Gyasi, Louis de Bernières, NK Jemisin, and Orhan Pamuk.

Samantha Cooper

Casting Director

Based in NYC, Sam is a working voice talent, actor, casting director, teacher, and avid traveler (when it’s safe to do so). She earned her B.A. in Theatre from the University of California, San Diego and has studied at A.C.T., Circle In the Square, and the Lorenzo d’Medici School in Florence. Hear her on: Pokémon (Disney), BoyGirlDogCatMouseCheese (BBC), Earth Defense Force: Iron Rain (PlayStation), and in commercials, elearning, explainer videos & audiobooks. Sam believes in the powers of collaboration, the ocean, and storytelling.

Carlos Bolivar

Publishing Account Associate, Podcast Management Associate

Carlos worked for 20 years in a family engineering company: From installing solar panels to managing personnel, logistics and administration. He studied classical, electrical guitar and music composition. He has produced 17 records with different projects and genres. He played a lot of concerts in Mexico’s underground rock scene.

He started producing audiobooks and voiceovers with his wife in 2019.

Fun fact: Playing in a rock band served it’s true purpose: he didn’t achieve stardom, but the rockstar moment came when he met his future wife at a gig!

Megan Lee

Casting Associate/Project Manager

Based in NYC, Megan is an operations maven by day, and an actor, producer, streamer, and DND player extraordinaire by night. She studied at the American Conservatory Theatre in San Francisco before moving to the opposite coast with a dream, two suitcases, and a cat. When she’s not working, reading, or teaching young ones at theatre camp, you can catch her streaming on Twitch and YouTube every other week as a series regular on Ravenloft: Domains of Dread, and in a multitude of mini series. She is passionate about storytelling through all mediums, adding her voice in support of those who need it most, and embracing play in every aspect of your life.

Fun fact: Megan hates all purple food and refuses to eat any of it.

Marcus Mulenga, Project Manager at Pro Audio Voices

Marcus Mulenga

Marcus Mulenga graduated in 2013 in Georgia and worked as a pharmacy technician for 6 years. After many friends praised his vocal talent, he started doing narration work in 2019, and has since completed many audiobooks. He enjoys serving others and helping people with their projects, and is always happy to assist in any way he can. He loves reading, writing, listening to music, and hanging out with family and friends.
Fun Fact: Marcus is also a self-published children’s author. He is very proud of his first book, “A Very Beautiful Rainbow!”, a colorful story about the power of sharing.

Makayla Lockett

Project Manager

Makayla Lockett is an educator, linguist, and project manager. She has a B.A. in Linguistics and an M.A. in English from The University of Toledo. After graduating, Makayla went into dialectology, working with renowned British dialect coach Andrew Jack to learn more about dialect training for actors and actresses. She has traveled to over 15 countries and greatly appreciates any opportunity to work with languages, dialects, or people. In the future, she would love to be a functional polyglot and proficient dialectologist.

Fun fact: She enjoys playing video games, and she spends a lot of her free time trying to get platinum trophies for her profile.

Jeffrey Samorano

Forged in the ashes of a once-glitchy internet, Jeffrey emerged as a legendary web developer, wielding the mystical powers of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript like a true digital sorcerer. With the Avada theme as his trusty steed and caffeine as his enchanted elixir, he tames rogue pixels and vanquishes 404 errors, all while crafting websites so sleek, they make the internet itself blush. When he’s not slaying bugs or building empires online, Jeffrey can be found plotting his next conquest in the world of code, where every keystroke is a step closer to web domination.

Jeffrey’s a seasoned web developer with over 20 years of experience in building, hosting, and supporting WordPress websites. Funnelytics certified and deeply passionate about automation, he leverages data to drive informed, impactful decisions. Beyond his technical expertise, Jeffrey enjoys indulging in mint chip ice cream and immersing himself in soundtracks, which fuel his creativity and focus throughout the day.

Louisa Calverley

Louisa Calverley has been deeply immersed in the audiobook industry for the past 8 years, contributing to over 300 titles in a range of roles including sound engineering, mastering, proofing, directing, and producing. Her true passion for all things book-related shines through in every project she takes on, bringing both expertise and enthusiasm to the table.

Driven by this love for the industry, Louisa naturally found herself drawn into the world of marketing—where she now thrives in creating and building engaging author profiles. She finds genuine joy in helping authors succeed and believes in the power of thoughtful promotion to connect stories with the right audiences.

FUN FACT: Based in England, United Kingdom, Louisa balances her vibrant professional life with being a proud mum of twins and five cats. When she’s not in the studio or behind the screen, you’ll likely find her down at the allotment growing vegetables or wandering the English countryside.

I only really got into audiobooks a few years ago but I fell hard. Now I’ll listen to anything! (Except litRPG… ) I tried the narrator thing for a while but can’t act to save my life. Turns out I’ve always enjoyed being more behind the scenes (tech crew, pit orchestra), and being a Manuscript Wizard has been more fun than I ever imagined.

Fun Fact: I’m fluent in French!

Gerald Surya is an editorial consultant, research assistant, and audiobook producer for several authors and organizations related to Indian civilization. He is also a author, contributing regularly to the Journal of Vaishnava Studies, and the Associate Editor of Ontology of the Bhagavad Gita: What Is One’s View of God, the Universe, and the Soul? Edwin Mellen Press (2015).

Fun Fact: Gerald is fascinated by the subject of biohacking for the purpose of staying healthy.

Julian Blackmore

Audio Engineer, Composer

Julian is a British composer and sound designer based in New York City, where he creates music and audio for a whole host of projects around the globe, including theatre, film, television, and digital media. His music has been used in theatre and media productions around the globe, including India, Hong Kong, South Africa, Australia and Dubai. If you watch enough unscripted telly, you’ve probably inadvertently heard his work. Before relocating to New York to study musical theatre writing, Julian toured internationally with top UK tribute band Abba Forever, and with 70s crooners Smokie.

Fun Fact: His hobbies include walking his rescue dog Parsley, who tends to supervise a lot of his work, and jumping out of planes for no good reason

Miloš Broćeta

Audio Engineer

Milos is an audio producer from Belgrade, Serbia. He specializes in editing spoken-word audio recordings. He’s worked at a national radio station as an audio producer and for a small production studio recording and editing voices for animated TV series. He has also recorded for independent internet video production portals, worked as a boom operator, field production sound mixer, and dialog editor. Milos has a bachelor’s degree in Sound Recording and Sound Design from the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade.

Milos’s hobby is playing guitar, also worked as a professional musician. That hobby led him into audio production.

Fun Fact: “When I was a kid I thought the night sky was the ceiling and that stars were holes from gunshots that sunlight was coming through.”

Tristan Wright

Audio Engineer, Home Studio Consultant, Remote Recording Associate

Tristan has been an actor, voiceover artist and audiobook narrator for over twenty years. He has narrated over 300 audiobooks and has appeared in numerous productions on stage and screen. He has worked on hundreds more audiobook productions as a director, editor and engineer. Tristan is delighted to be working with Pro Audio Voices as a narrator as well as on the post production team. He recently moved from Los Angeles to Raleigh, North Carolina where he lives with his wife, son and twin daughters. Oh, and their irish wolfhound, Winston. Tristan is an avid soccer player and is an accomplished flutist and piano player.

Fun Fact: He has also been known to dive off of a cliff or two when the opportunity presents itself.

Michael Reaves

For over 25 years, Mike was an A-list mix engineer in NYC, working in acclaimed recording studios including Electric Lady, Sony Studios, Hit Factory, Unique Recording Studios, Quad, Power Station/Avatar, and others. He produced hit records for artists including Mary J. Blige, Jessica Simpson, Boys II Men, Wu-Tang Clan, Brian McKnight, The Temptations, Metallica, Bon Jovi, Tariq & Gunz, Kansas, 702, Brandy, NeedToBreathe, Big Daddy Kane, KRS-One, Marilyn Manson, Alicia Keys, Queen Latifah and scores of others. He’s garnered two Grammy™ awards and 23 platinum albums and remains a voting Grammys™ member. Mike also designed and taught advanced engineering courses at the world’s largest media college, Full Sail University. He now focuses on producing audio books for Pro Audio Voices as well as Audible, Findaway Voices and more.

Jim Parker, CEO of Riverview Studios

Jim Parker is the founder and owner of Riverview Studios which provides broadcast and video production services globally. Jim has been telling stories via his camera for 48 years throughout the world and from his studio in Bordentown, NJ. His travels led him to Uganda where he was inspired to create the Parker Mother and Child Foundation which has earned him many awards for his humanitarian and philanthropic endeavors. In addition to serving as Chair of the CNJN Board of Trustees, Jim is also on the board of trustees of The Roebling Museum and has served on the board of New Jersey Policy Perspective.

Fun Fact: Jim says his glass is always 7/8 full, usually with something delicious. After 48 years of producing documentary films, he says he still learns something new from every project.
