Now that we’ve officially launched the AMPlifyAudiobooks.com web app, we’re committed to helping everyone get on board and start making it work for them. One of the really cool features on the platform is “Reflections.” Just like you might write notes in the margin of a print book, now you can do an interactive version of that in an audiobook! Super cool! In the flow of the audiobook, you can post a reflection and, if you choose, share it with the author, the narrator, and anyone else listening to the audiobook.
Step by Step Marketing Workshops
Starting to build those conversations is one of our first steps that we’re working on in our 8-week author marketing cohort. We sent out an invitation to authors who have titles on AMPlifyAudiobooks.com and invited them to participate in this cohort. We’re meeting weekly for 30 minutes to move our marketing forward. If you qualify but missed the email, you have until next Friday to still sign up. After that, the cohort will be closing. Portland Book Festival
Also, AMPlify Audiobooks® authors are encouraged to put their audiobooks out for free this coming weekend during the Portland Book Festival. Often the authors who give away the most books are the ones who end up selling the most books too. This is an opportunity to find more of your audience. Pro Audio Voices and Amplify Audiobooks® will be represented at the Portland Book Festival, which has already sold over 6,800 tickets to the event. If you’re in Portland, come by our booth (#44)!
