About the Author: Joseph Durette
Joe is active in his community, having served as a delegate on his local inland/wetlands commission and board of education, and he participates in local fundraising efforts for the American Cancer Society. He works at a nearby aerospace manufacturing company as a quality inspector, safety trainer, and union safety representative, and he is also the lead editor of a trade union publication that has won international recognition for editing, writing, and layout. In his spare time, Joe enjoys following football, baseball, and auto racing, and he has served as a commissioner in fantasy leagues for many years.
Much of his free time of late is spent writing and editing, and with Fight or Flight in his rear-view mirror, Joe is looking forward to rekindling his Trinity College thesis project, an adaptive screenplay featuring one of Hartford’s most famous historical residents, Mark Twain.*
