Travels in an American Imagination audiobook cover imageLee Foster Book and Article Win SATW Awards

A Lee Foster book …won awards in the 2015 Society of American Travel Writers (Western Chapter, www.satw.org) annual writing competition.

SATW is the leading national organization of top level travel writers, photographers, and publicists in the U.S. and Canada, with about 1,000 members.

The winning book is Travels in an American Imagination: The Spiritual Geography of Our Time.

The book was awarded the Bronze prize for Travel Books.

The award was specifically for the publication of this book as an audiobook, beyond it being a printed book and an ebook. This is a first time for SATW giving the book award for an audiobook. The audiobook was produced by Becky Parker Geist of Pro Audio Voices.

The Judges wrote that this book is “a spiritual quest for meaning in a confusing, compelling, and ultimately contradictory world, seen through the lens of the 21st century. It tells us more about the traveler than about the space through which he wanders.”
